About this module
This learning module will broaden your understanding of your own health and the health of the medical profession. It will help you to explore the importance of prevention and timely intervention, the help-seeking behaviour of doctors and the benefits of having your own GP.
This course will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Welcome
This is an interactive two-hour module which is presented in four parts. It uses a range of learning methods to optimise your educational experience and to facilitate learning.
The case studies are drawn from the significant clinical experience of doctors’ health experts across Australia and are realistic but fictional. Any resemblance to a doctor or doctors or student is purely coincidental.
You may stop and start the module and return to the case if you are interrupted. Upon completion of the module, you will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion.
Should you wish to learn more, you can indicate your interest in attending further training in doctors’ health offered by your local State and Territory doctors’ health service and the opportunity to join the local doctors’ health special interest group.
