About this module

Australia has one of the lowest rates of cervical cancer in the world, largely as a result of the success of the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP).

Changes to the program since 2017, including the move from Pap Tests to HPV testing and the availability of self-collection as a screening option for all eligible participants, are based on the latest available evidence on the development and prevention of cervical cancer.

This course bundle includes all five education modules developed for healthcare professionals to provide education on the National Cervical Screening Program.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This education activity has been developed by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care and the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer (ACPCC).
Each of the NCSP eLearning modules are CPD endorsed with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the Australian Medical Association CPD Home.

The NCSP eLearning bundle is CPD endorsed with the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
